Officially Unveiled: Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR Racing Version
Developed by Yamaha Motor Europe and GYTR PRO Shop, the YZF-R1 GYTR PRO comes with numerous upgrades over the standard model, all of which were developed in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Research & Development Europe (YMRE), the same team responsible for the development of racing bikes in the WorldSBK championship. The manufacturer claims that this new motorcycle brings specific racing data and high-performance capabilities to the street for an exhilarating riding experience.
Among the standard upgrades, the YZF-R1 GYTR PRO boasts a carbon-fiber subframe, a modified fuel tank with a lower center of gravity, and a Magneti Marelli ECU. The front suspension features Öhlins FGR racing-derived forks, while the rear shock is a TTX model equipped with pneumatic preload adjusters for enhanced control. The bike also sports a newly developed swingarm for WorldSBK racing usage, improved Brembo calipers on both the front and rear, and a full carbon fiber fairing to reduce weight and maximize aerodynamics.

In addition to the standard upgrades, the YZF-R1 GYTR PRO can be equipped with the GYTR PRO Electronic System (GPES), a comprehensive electronic control system that offers cutting-edge features such as wheelie control, launch control, engine braking management, fuel mapping adjustments, and traction control to provide the rider with the most advanced electronic assistance.
Yamaha has positioned the YZF-R1 GYTR PRO at the top of the R1 series, but production will be limited to only 25 units available exclusively in the European market. Buyers will have the option to choose the GYTR Pro Shop that will assemble their bike, and once completed, they will receive personalized tuning services from Yamaha's technical team to tailor the motorcycle according to their preferences, similar to the treatment received by WorldSBK factory riders.
