Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR: official unveiled
Kawasaki UK has announced that they will be introducing a new product in the form of a full-fairing sportbike, which will incorporate technology from the racing circuit as part of the competition in the Kawasaki British Superteen class. This new bike will be included in the race events of the British Superbike Championship (BSB) for the 2024 season.
The bike in question is the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR Racing version, intended to be used for the Kawasaki British Superteen competition. The event aims to discover new talent between the ages of 15 to 20 years, and it will be a one-make race where all racing specifications of the motorcycles must be identical, with the only differences allowed being the paint schemes and decals on the bike's body.
The Ninja ZX-4RR will be tuned by MSS Performance, a manufacturer of racing motorcycles partnering directly with Kawasaki UK. They will install performance-enhancing accessories for racing, such as Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa tires, an SP exhaust, hand-slide guards, and a Solo Seat for racing purposes. The engine itself will undergo complete tuning to suit the high-intensity demands of the races.
MSS Performance will create two packages for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR Racing version, differing only in terms of the accessories on the bike. The overall mechanical setup will remain the same, and the starting price for these packages will be £12,000 or approximately 531,540 Baht, which is relatively high. Importantly, the motorcycles will not be street-legal, and buyers will be required to participate in the Kawasaki British Superteen competition as well.
