Official launch of the Suzuki GSX-8S "SERT'', a special set

After officially launching their new platform for the global market, the renowned Japanese automobile manufacturer Suzuki has introduced and released two new products worldwide: the GSX-8S and V-Strom 800 DE. These products have received a highly positive response and have been profitable for the company.

Recently, Suzuki France, the official manufacturer and distributor in France, unveiled a special customization kit for the GSX-8S called the "SERT" edition. This model pays tribute to the success of the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team over the past several years, with "SERT" being the team's distinctive name.

The GSX-8S "SERT" customization kit follows the same graphic design concept that Suzuki France previously applied to the GSX-S1000 in 2021. In addition to the race-inspired aesthetic enhancements, the SERT kit also includes functional accessories for practical use. For instance, it comes with an engine belly pan and protection to prevent oil spills during racing or on the road. Moreover, there are tank pads, windscreen deflectors, and decorative side panels for the water pump cover, adding an extra touch of beauty to the bike.

To understand the significance of the Suzuki GSX-8S "SERT" edition, we must look back at the achievements of the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team, which has won numerous championships in the Endurance World Championship (EWC). The team has claimed victory in all 20 events, with its latest triumph in the 2021 season. In the 2022 season, they secured the second position behind the FCCTSR Honda France team, who won the championship that year. In the current 2023 EWC season, the Yoshimura SERT Motul team currently holds the fourth place in the standings, with a chance to reclaim the championship in the remaining two races of the season.

The GSX-8S "SERT" edition will be available through Suzuki dealers in France, priced at 899 euros (approximately 34,010 baht). It's important to note that this price includes only the customization kit and does not cover the cost of the motorcycle itself.
