Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401.2024 versions were officially launched.
Husqvarna is a Swedish motorcycle manufacturer. A new model has been announced. Officially for road motorcycles such as Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401. Which are linked to KTM's new product updates.

Technically, Husqvarna is one of the companies that is under the umbrella of KTM AG, which has a direct relationship with the global brand KTM and the Spanish motorcross manufacturer Gas Gas, which makes up the majority of the platform. All three brands are the same. But there are differences according to the product line. And the latest models to be launched such as the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401 will use the same updated platform as the KTM 390 Duke.
The first thing that both models received was a new update. New improved 399cc single cylinder engine. It will replace the 373cc engine of the previous model. The engine received a new, smaller cylinder head with larger valve covers. Easy valve cover gasket for easy maintenance. New camshafts provide an increase in valve lift. More efficient cooling system Fuel distribution system and airbox have been completely improved.
Husqvarna says these changes allow for a better distribution of engine weight and overall engine performance. The new engine will have a maximum power of 44.3 horsepower (hp) at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 28.8 Ib-Ft at 6,750 rpm, compared to the previous engine's 43 horsepower (hp) at 8,000 rpm and a torque of 27.3 Ib-. ft. at 7,000 rpm. It can be seen that the power of the new power plant will increase. And use engine revolutions that are lower than before.

The power changes resulted in a completely new transmission. Start with a new gear set. Although the gear ratio has not changed from the previous model. But there will be a new method in gear. Additionally, both models come with an all-new exhaust system. The manufacturer adds that the new exhaust system weighs 2kg less than the previous system and the vehicle also comes with a state-of-the-art electronics package. It has an electronic accelerator system with 2 driving modes, Street & Rain, 3 level traction control system, Street, Rain & Off, which has a speed limit function that acts as a cruise control system and updates the new display screen. It comes with a 5-inch TFT color screen and also comes with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
As far as structure is concerned. Both models come with new improvements. Its wheelbase will be longer than before. Using the trellis frame structure but including changing the style of the new structure with a completely new design of the connection points. The method of tying the new subframe has also been changed, resulting in a more secure fixing than before. This makes it easier to control the car. It also increases the comfort of the passengers.
As far as suspension system is concerned. There are changes in the back. It is offset to the right to accommodate changes in. With the larger airbox, the seat height has been reduced by half an inch to 820 mm. The swing arm has also been changed from the previous model. These will be replaced with newly designed shock absorbers and exhaust pipes. While the front suspension still uses WP APEX shock absorbers, which are 43mm in size, with improvements in compression and rebound. This improvement is similar to the WP APEX rear shock, which comes with features to adjust the rebound and preload levels in this new model.
The braking system comes with Bybre four-piston radial mount calipers and a 320mm disc at the front. And a single 240mm disc with a two-piston floating caliper at the rear, along with a Bosch 9.3 MP dual-channel ABS system that comes with new systems such as Cornering ABS and Supermoto ABS.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 will start marketing the new models in March. The manufacturer has not yet announced the official sale price. The car will be available in European and North American markets. This should include updating the new models in Thailand as well, before expanding to different regions around the world.
