LAMBRETTA, the legendary premium scooter brand from Italy with over 76 years of history, has unveiled the new V200 GP model in the concept of "New Shade of GP." This edition comes in two special color shades that every classic scooter lover should own!
New LAMBRETTA V200 GP is inspired by the design of the GP model, also known as the DL model, which is another iconic creation from the famous Italian designer Nuccio Bertone. Nuccio Bertone is renowned for his work on various Italian car brands such as Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, and Ferrari. Among his creations is the legendary LAMBRETTA GP/DL scooter (1969 – 1971), which transformed the classic LAMBRETTA design into a sleeker and sportier version. One of the most iconic features of the GP model is the Ink Splat emblem, inspired by a drop of ink seen during the scooter's design process. This emblem is now proudly featured on the body of the new LAMBRETTA V200 GP, carrying on the legacy from the past.
The latest V200 GP (2023) model is introduced with two special color options, Green GP, a unique green shade that symbolizes the challenge and triumph of racing competitions, and Gray GP, a classic gray color associated with sporting heritage. Additionally, the New LAMBRETTA V200 GP (2023) boasts Side Panel Arrow Flashes, designed in Black Chrome, adding a touch of elegance to the scooter's profile.
The V200 GP (2023) is equipped with a fuel-injected (EFI) engine, a 168.9cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke powerplant, complying with EURO 4 emission standards. It features an automatic CVT transmission, driven by a belt, and comes with front Telescopic and dual-rear shock absorbers to ensure a smooth ride. The scooter incorporates a CBS (Combi Brake System) to distribute braking force effectively, with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. The sturdy metal craftsmanship and the 1.2mm thick central steel frame of the scooter add to its legendary status.
The V200 GP (2023) also includes modern features like full LED lighting around the scooter, with a distinctive hexagonal headlamp design showcasing the LAMBRETTA logo. The Semi LCD Meter in the instrument cluster offers a blend of classic and modern aesthetics, with the option to choose from 7 different colors for the display. The scooter provides ample under-seat storage for added convenience during travels.
